PAPA OSMUBAL is a member of PEN International, Hong Kong Chapter. When his muse abandons him, he messes up with art. And when his artistic inspiration abandons him, he messes up with his muse. When his muse and artistic inspiration abandon him, he messes up with his beer.
His solo art exhibition entitled "Black and White" was held early 2004 at the UNESCO Center in Macau through the sponsorship of Fundacao Macau, a government-funded cultural group.
His previous books of poems are Parnaso, in Tagalog (1991, Angeles City, Philippines), and Lighthouse, in English (1999, Quezon City, Philippines). He has published in literary magazines such as Philipine Graphic, National Midweek (now defunct and sorely missed), Philippines Free Press, and Wild East (Hong Kong Literary Circle).
On the web he has published in www.spreadhead.net, dalityapi.com, and birdandegg.
Papa Osmubal is a Macau resident of Filipino origins. He is married to a Chinese local, has two children, one 4-year old girl and one 2-year old boy.
